Shopify has integrated agentic payment credentials built by Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover into Shop Pay, letting AI shopping agents transact without seeing the buyer's card. Product VP Rohit Mishra said Shop Pay will also work at merchants not hosted on Shopify, extending the wallet beyond Shopify's own base.
