Learned Dexterous Manipulation Policies
Robot foundation models and simulation-trained policies let dual-arm and dexterous robots perform contact-rich assembly steps that could not be hand-programmed reliably.
Developed mainly in: United States and JapanImpacting: North America, Rest of Asia, China and Europe
NVIDIA and Foxconn released the first measured performance figures for AI-trained dual-arm robots working on GB300 NVL72 rack assembly at Foxconn's Houston plant. The machines exceed 95% success on busbar installation and 90–95% on multi-connector insertion in live production, with a stated target of 99.5% yield at a 124-second cycle time.
