PNNL closed out a DOE-FECM program, co-funded 20% by SoCalGas, showing a semi-closed-loop system that pairs EEMPA capture solvent with catalytic conversion in its TCCS reactor, running steadily for eight hours. Two catalysts, Pt/MoO3 and Pt/ZrO2, held methanol output past 100 hours, with Pt/ZrO2 near 100% selectivity.
